A Maryland man was killed in a car crash in Frederick County Sunday morning, police said.
Jeffrey Brookes Ridenour, 37, was driving alone when his car crashed on U.S. 15 South past Lohr Road in Thurmont at about 4:20 a.m., Frederick County police said. He was ejected from the car and did not survive, police said.
Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, police said.
The right lane near the crash on U.S. 15 South that was closed due to the investigation has reopened, transit officials said.
