A man was shot and killed inside a barbershop in Northeast D.C. Tuesday afternoon, police say.
Police arrived at the 6200 block of Dix Street NE at about 12:30 p.m. Inside the shop, they found 25-year-old Kayvon Herder and a barbershop employee had been shot.
Herder died at the scene.
The other victim is expected to survive.
Police believe Herder may have been the target of the shooting.
No arrests have been made. The suspects were last seen inside a black four-door Infiniti with paper tags, headed toward 58th Street NE.
