A 3-year-old girl was killed and another person was critically injured in a crash on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway Monday night.
The crash happened about 11:15 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the BW Parkway near Route 198 in Laurel, Maryland.
U.S. Park Police say speed was a factor in the crash.
The victim and driver have not been identified. The toddler's father was in the car at the time of the crash, but he was not the driver, police say.
No charges have been filed at this time. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
