One man is dead following a shooting near H Street Sunday night.
Officers were called to the 900 block of 3rd Street NE just after 10 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found 36-year-old Timothy Bing suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.
No arrests have been made.
The shooting is located less than a mile away from where a man was shot inside the Flats 130 apartment building Saturday. The victim in that case was conscious and breathing when he was transported to the hospital.
