Just How Dirty Is Your Phone?

A new study shows that your phone is probably dirtier than you think

A new study from the London School of Hygiene showed the average cell phone has 18 times more bacteria on it than a toilet flush handle.

The good news is that there are plenty of solutions to keep your phone clean.

Dan Costa, editor-in-chief of PCMag.com, recommends carrying some wipes specifically designed for electronics.

There are also other ways to clean your phone.

The “Cyberclean” compound resembles a giant piece of Silly Putty.  It molds to your phone or other electronic device and picks up any dirt or grime.

You can also use ultraviolet light to kill germs.  These devices, which range from a capsule for your phone to a wand to wave over a keyboard, kill about 99.9 percent of germs.

So clean your phone and then wash your hands.
