Red Velvet Cupcakery: Swing by this recently opened cupcake spot for an early morning treat. Red Velvet is gifting the first 500 customers with free cupcakes. The cupcake bonanza begins at 11 a.m. at 675 E St. NW, Washington D.C.

National Symphony Orchestra: Treat yourself to a night of classical musical, featuring pianist Leif Ove Andsnes and conductor Ilan Volkov. Andsnes performs Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3, and Volkov will be conducting works by Stravinsky and Crumb. The performance is followed by a free discussion with the performers. Additional performances 1/16 and 1/17. Tickets are $20-80. Attendees age 17-25 who register with Attend! Program receive reduced price tickets to all events at the Kennedy Center. Drunken Jenga: The Rock and Roll Hotel gives a childhood game an adult twist by transforming Jenga into a drinking game. Successfully removing a piece gives you the option of commanding another player to drink, but toppling the tower means finishing your beer. $2 PBR for those who participate. 8 p.m. - 2 a.m. 1353 H St. NE, Washington, D.C.
