This year's Walk & 5K to End HIV, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed due to weather until Dec. 1, World AIDS Day.

Registration for the walk will remain open for the next six weeks.

The walk is Whitman-Walker Health's signature fundraiser, calling on D.C.-area residents to walk or run to support their mission of providing health care to those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS, organizers say.

The walk will begin and end at Freedom Plaza (Pennsylvania Avenue and 13th Street NW). The closest Metro stations are Federal Triangle and Metro Center.
