We all know that Virginia is for lovers. However, a new poll shows that it is also best for families.
Two Virginia cities top travel website TripAdvisor’s inaugural Travelers’ Choice Family Choice Awards for Great U.S. Destinations to Discover that came out Tuesday.
Williamsburg took the number one spot and Virginia Beach came in second.
The rankings were chosen by the number of recommendations from reviewers who traveled with family.
Are you surprised Virginia topped the list? According to Virginia Tourism Corporation President and CEO Alisa Bailey, you shouldn’t be. She said Virginia offers families what they want, from beaches and amusement parks to great outdoors and iconic history.
