V-Day 411: Single & Ready to Mingle

Not feeling the love this year?

CUPID'S UNDIE RUN: "Are you single? Meet a fellow runner, and this could be your last first date! Are you taken? Bring your S.O. for a romantic romp around the Capitol! Is it complicated? What better way to further complicate things than a sexy strut in your Valentine’s Day best?” The people behind Cupid’s Undie Run could not have said it better! The charity run will benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation, and the only requirement is to wear your bedroom best! They encourage Valentine’s Day flair, of course, while making your 1.75-mile lap around the Capitol building. The race will start and end at Pourhouse (319 Pennsylvania Ave. S.E.), where your registration fee will provide you with drink specials all day, as well as post-race food. Saturday, Feb. 13; 12 p.m.; $30.

D.C. RECORD FAIR: The people at D.C. Soul, Som Records and The Vinyl District have teamed up to create a Valentine's Day Edition of the beloved D.C. Record Fair. With DJs spinning all day -- including Eric Hilton of Thievery Corporation -- and crates and crates (and crates) of records from vendors from all along the East Coast, this event will sound like heaven to your music-loving ears. P.S. It's happening at the Black Cat (1811 14th St. N.W.), which is also having their annual Rock and Roll Dance Party that evening. Sunday, Feb. 14; noon-6 p.m.; $2 admission.

ANTI V-DAY DINNER: Not feeling the love this year? Bring along all your single friends to an Anti-Valentine’s Day dinner at Againn (1099 New York Ave. N.W.). They'll  put together a British Isles inspired three-course meal that they gurantee will give you "a warm and fuzzy feeling!" Saturday, Feb. 14; $39.

RIDE THE PARTY BUS: Being in love can be a wild ride, but being single can be even wilder if you hop on board the Single Awareness Night party bus! Starting off in Dupont Circle, this bus will take you and your new single pals bar-hopping all night long around the District, stopping in Georgetown, Chinatown, Capitol Hill, Adams Morgan and more. Riding the bus ensures you VIP status into all the bars -- a.k.a., no cover! Friday, Feb. 13; 9 p.m.; Boomerang Tours, 212-209-3370; $35.
