Used Games Prove Big for GameStop

Even with the current economic struggle for retailers, videogame seller GameStop Corp. has managed to post big sales gains this past year, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Much of their success can be attributed to aggressive marketing of their used products to cash conscious customers.

GameStop just this month reported a 22% increase in overall sales and a 10% surge in sales at stores open more than 12 months for the holiday sales period ending Jan. 3, reported The Journal.

GameStop has several stores in DC, Md. and Va.
