“We thought that doing an in-depth profile on Beyonce was a perfect way to celebrate the fifth anniversary of ‘TV One Access,’” says Senior Producer Monique Chenault. “There is no other young celebrity who has handled the pressures of international fame and celebrity with such style, grace and humility.”

While discussing her marriage to Jay-Z, Beyonce admits that sometimes it is hard to keep her relationship private. “Sometimes it is difficult because when you are excited and you are happy, you want to just be like ‘Yeah!’” Beyonce continues. “I know just from experience that when you let so many people in, it just complicates things so much.”

Beyonce also wants her fans to know that she is no different from anyone else. “I guess I am very sensitive. I am really emotional. I am extremely happy and I am a bit shy and I am also very vulnerable,” says Beyonce. “I feel and I cry and I hurt and I fall in love. I get scared and nervous just like everyone else.”

When asked what she would like to accomplish before she turns 30, Beyonce says, “ I would still love to win an Oscar.” Ali asks about the prospect of having children and Beyonce responds, “The kids, I don’t know. I don’t know if I will be ready in three years, three years, yeah maybe, probably.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a more exciting guest than Beyonce as one of my first interviews for ‘TV One Access.’” says host Ali. “She was an absolute delight- warm and honest, and her album is …fierce! Her fans will be as delighted as I am when they hear what she’s been working on.”
