This past Sunday's Sweetlife Festival—the day-long jamboree presented by salad-chain Sweetgreen at Merriweather Post Pavilion—included big names like The Strokes, Girl Talk, Lupe Fiasco, Cold War Kids, and Ra Ra Riot, as well as local band U.S. Royalty, who co-founded the festival.
The Feast sat down with bandmembers John Thornley (sweaty, hairy, feathery vocals), Paul Thornley (guitar), Jacob Michael (bass), and Luke Adams (drums) to talk about the festival's M.O., and to discuss their eating habits.
They're currently on tour with Third Eye Blind to promote their latest album, Mirrors. Check out the single, "Equestrian" in the clip above.
