Two Men Apparently Killed in Cemetery

Deaths considered suspicious

SUITLAND, Md. -- The deaths of two men whose bodies were found at a cemetery are considered suspicious, according to Prince George's County police.

The bodies were found by Cedar Hill Cemetery groundskeepers after 8 a.m. in the 4000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue near Southern Avenue. A damaged vehicle was found nearby with blood on it, police said.

There is no evidence that the men were struck by the vehicle, which belonged to one of the victims, police said.

Police searched the cemetery grounds for clues and any possible weapon used to kill the men.

Funeral services were being conducted at the Cedar Hill Funeral Home, but managers said the investigation did not interfere with services or burials.

The cemetery roads are popular shortcuts to and from Pennsylvania Avenue, residents said.
