Tina Fey On Playing Palin: ‘We Glue My Ears Down'

Though millions of Americans have laughed at Tina Fey’s uncanny portrayal of Governor Sarah Palin on “Saturday Night Live,” the actress, herself, isn’t convinced she got it right.

“I expected people to be like, ‘Ahhh, we thought it’d be better than that.’” Tina admitted in the new issue of TV Guide. “I stand by the pieces as both fair and quite gentle…We glue my ears down. That’s one of the tricks.”

Glued-down ears or not, many have marveled at the resemblance between the two women, though it took a while for Tina to see it herself.

“When I first saw her, I didn’t think we looked alike at all,” Tina said. “Then during the convention, I started to think, ‘OK, maybe a little.’”

But she contends, like Alec Baldwin did on last week’s “Saturday Night Live,” Palin is an attractive woman.
