Three Minutes & 20 Seconds of Enlightenment

Short attention span? Yeah, we ... wait, what?

Listen. We'll make this short because we know all about your adult-onset ADD, your trigger finger on the TV remote and the fact that you're already trying to figure out where to order tonight's pizza from.

Tonight at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (1250 New York Ave. NW), local female business owners from Creative DC will explain how they got creative to grow their ventures. The catch (for them)? They each have to do that in only three minutes and 20 seconds. This keeps the presentations to-the-point and gives more presenters a chance to talk ... in about the same amount of time as a commercial break. (And no, you can't fast-foward through it on your DVR.)

A dozen presenters will include Marielle Mariano, Sarah Massey and Jen Consalco. Your $10 ticket includes refreshments and a return trip to explore the exhibit during regular museum hours.

$10; RSVP to be eligible for raffle prizes; Tuesday, 6:30-9 p.m.
