LOCAL COUPLE SPIED FOR CUBA: FEDS
Federal authorities arrested a D.C. couple suspected of espionage on behalf of Cuba Thursday. Agent 202 -- 72-year-old Walter Kendall Myers, a former State Department employee -- and his wife Agent 123 and Agent E-634 -- 71-year-old Gwendolyn Steingraber Myers -- each are charged with conspiracy to act as illegal agents of the Cuban government and to communicate classified information to the Cuban government, acting as illegal agents of the Cuban government, and wire fraud. They could face up to 35 years in prison. The couple appeared in U.S. District Court Friday. (NBC Washington)

CONGRESSIONAL COMMUTERS CRY FOWL TO FENTY
When it comes to some major transportation projects across the Potomac River, is D.C. showing a lack of respect toward Virginia drivers?  Rep. Gerry Connolly, (D-Va.), tells WTOP the answer is yes.  "I think there is an issue here of respect for Northern Virginia commuters that is lacking. I think there is an issue here of communication, which was not even apparently an afterthought," says Connolly.  (WTOP)

CHRYSLER UNLOADING CARS AND FAST
If you're looking for a new Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep, this just might be your weekend. Chrysler dealers who will lose their right to sell new cars as early as Tuesday need to unload the remaining cars and trucks on their lot or face getting stuck with them. Chrysler, which has filed for bankruptcy protection, has told 789 dealerships they'll no longer have a contract to sell new cars after next week. (MSNBC)

20-SOMETHING NOW FILTHY RICH
The nation's newest megamillionaire was identified today as a rancher from a remote part of the wind-swept western South Dakota plains. Neal Wanless, 23, won a $232.1 million Powerball jackpot — the ninth-largest Powerball jackpot in the history of the multistate game, according to a statement this afternoon from the South Dakota Lottery.  Wearing a cowboy hat, jeans and a western shirt, Wanless was introduced to the rest of the world at a ceremony today in Pierre, the state capital.
