The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) announced today a slate of top recording artists performing at several official events for the 2009 Presidential Inaugural celebration.
“The talent we have selected reflects the diverse musical traditions of our nations, truly making this ‘America’s Inaugural,’” said Emmett S. Beliveau, PIC Executive Director. “As we seek to make this the most open and accessible inaugural in history, we have selected a full slate of top recording artists that we think will provide something for everyone. This will be a celebration for everyone.”
A list of performers for several official PIC inaugural events is below. Additional performers for the remaining events will be announced soon.
