An independent production company (or possibly just some guy, it's not clear) is looking to create a sitcom based on the fertile nightlife strip of H Street NE, according to a casting call that went out yesterday. Tentatively called H-Street, the show will shoot a pilot episode and has a full slate of characters based, somewhat predictably, on typical D.C. stereotypes. For example, there's Mitch, a bow-tie wearing "young Republican working on the Hill as low-level staff", and Brad, an aloof, kickball-playing hipster. What will happen when these two collide?!
