D.C. Fashion Week is proving to be busier than even we expected. Here's another fashion show to choose from on Friday, September 23.
Sustainable-chic boutique Carbon in Woodley Park will be hosting a 'Green and Blue Runway Show and Fundraiser' tomorrow night. Two collections will be showcased: organic and herb dyed ready-to-wear by A.D.O. Clothing and Neuaura's vegan shoes. According to the press release, the looks will "appeal to the Washingtonian professional woman interested in fashion that is sleek, with tailored construction, and comfort."
A donation of $10 to $20 is suggested, and all proceeds go to The Ocean Foundation, so you can watch eco fashions walk the runway and contribute directly to the environment all in the same night. As an added bonus, several of Carbon's favorite designers, including those showing, will be there, and vegan treats will be served. The evening goes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
