You know that internship you used to roll into around 10 a.m. every day? The one that mainly consisted of you picking up Starbucks for the staff and surreptitiously IMing your friends when the boss wasn't around? Yeah, that ... wasn't really cool.
Unlike the internship that Tina Fey, Mike Myers, and Steve Carell had. They all got their start with The Second City Chicago Theatre, a sketch comedy group that's oh-so-conveniently coming to Wolf Trap this weekend. (Much easier than driving that ZipCar all the way to Chicago, hmm?)
The Wolf Trap Young Professional Society presents "Laughter Unleashed" this Saturday, Feb. 21 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 -- guess you're wishing that was a paid internship now. But your ticket will also buy you admission into a private reception beforehand, where you can scarf "heavy hors d'oeuvres" (we don't make this up; we just report it) by Morton's Steakhouse. And cocktails. So you can console yourself that your internship didn't rocket YOU into international fame and millions of dollars.
