Salahis Had Uninvited Company at Obama State Dinner

Secret Service says third person got in

It looks like the Salahis weren't the only uninvited guests to make their way past security and into President Barack Obama's first state dinner at the White House.

The Secret Service said Monday that during their investigation they realized that a third person not on the guest list got in. The Secret Service did not identify the person, but the Washington Post identified the person as Carlos Allen, who promotes parties in Mount Pleasant and is the CEO of Hush Society Magazine.  The Post said it obtained Allen's name from a "congressional source."

Allen, however, denied attending the state dinner in an interview with Politico

The Secret Service said that the person traveled from a local hotel where the official Indian delegation was staying and arrived at the dinner with the group, which was "under the responsibility of the Department of State."

Investigators said the person went through all required security measures with the official delegation at the hotel and boarded a bus/van with the guests en route to the White House.

Officials do not believe the person went through the receiving line or had contact with the president or first lady. The Salahis, on the other hand, did, and have the pictures to prove it.

The Secret Service said changes are already in place to prevent this from happening again.
