Rock the Vote Rocks 9:30

Have a sweaty good time at 9:30 Club's sure-to-be-packed inauguration party.

Tix are still available for tonight's inauguration party at the 9:30 Club, sponsored by Rock The Vote and ck one. (Um, ck one still exists?!?!)

Lineup:
8 p.m. - Doors open
8:55 p.m.  - Michael Franti
9:20 p.m.- Grace Potter
9:30 p.m. - Talib Kweli
10:15 p.m. - The Dresden Dolls
11:15 p.m. - The Honey Brothers
12:10 a.m. - Flounder's Mash Ups
12:30 a.m. - Jamie Burke

The Dresden Dolls (apparent motto: Fedora is king!) is hauling its toy piano and cabaret-style costumes to perform new songs from their Winter '08 sessions, taking the stage at 10:15 p.m. And in case you skimmed through that list above too quickly (yes, the Internet is all about skimming), Flounder from quasi-obnoxious radio station DC 101 is sharing his fun musical mashups tonight at 12:10.

Tickets are $50 at the door. Maybe the price would normally keep some peeps away, but ... the 9:30 Club on inauguration night? Yeah, no way that's NOT gonna be packed to the gills. At least there are no reported outages on the Green Line! (Well, yet.)
