On Monday, People reported that the actress had been approached by Jerry Mitchell, the director of the Las Vegas show, which currently stars former Spice Girl Mel B and "General Hospital's" Kelly Monaco.

"I think she would be great in the show," Mitchell told the mag. "I would need to meet with her and dance a bit as I would with anyone who would love to be a part of 'Peepshow.'"

Speculation may have been started that Lindsay was going to join the cast when Kelly Monaco finishes her run, after the redhead was spotted at the revue this past weekend.

"It's true that Lindsay visited the show at the weekend and that Jerry would love to have her but that is as far as it has gone," Lindsay's rep told Radar Online. "She has not inked any deals and no detailed discussions took place with Jerry — anything else would be purely speculation at this point."

And show star, Mel B, also hinted during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday that Lindsay joining the show was unlikely.

"Would she support you on stage?" Ryan asked.

"I don't know about that," Mel responded.

Mel also suggested it was not yet known whether "Peepshow" would continue beyond its contracted run with its current stars.

"Our contracts end in a couple months, so we'll see what happens," Mel said. "Maybe we'll extend it, maybe not."
