Peek Inside Obama's White House Super Bowl Party

President Obama was playing the role of good host during his Super Bowl party at the White House, an attendee told Politico

The president, who was rooting for the New Orleans Saints, reportedly stood up during a commercial break on Sunday and asked if anyone in the room wanted anything.

"Anybody want anything?" Obama asked, according to Politico.

He added, "Anything? Chips, beer?"

Everyone laughed, but no one made a request.

"Okay," he reportedly said before leaving the room to get food.

Obama invited soldiers, Cabinet members and lawmakers such as Sen. Chris Dodd and Congressman Joseph Cao to watch the game at the White House.

"I do have a soft spot in my heart for New Orleans mainly because of what the city has gone through over these last several years, and I just know how much that team means to them," Obama told CBS earlier in the week.
