NatsFest Details Released

Much to the delight of many, the Nationals decided not to hold their fan day in January this year. In a bold move, it will be the day before Opening Day.

From the press release:

“The third annual NatsFest will feature activities for fans of all ages and offer unprecedented access to Nationals players, prospects, coaches and executives. Future Nationals scheduled to participate include Stephen Strasburg, Bryce Harper, Derek Norris, Chien-Ming Wang and Cole Kimball*.”

That little asterisk leads you to disclaimer stating that player appearances are subject to change. If you go hoping for Strasburg and end up with Ollie Perez, don’t say you weren’t warned.

The four hour event begins at 4 p.m. on March 30 and includes a host of other activities, including meet and greets, question and answer sessions, kids activities, and a chance to run with the Racing Presidents.

Unfortunately, Tickets.com has been printing this year’s tickets as “2010 NatsFest,” which could also explain the planned Guitar Hero contest.

Tickets are $5 for kids and $10 for adults, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Dream Foundation. A full shedule of events can be found here.
