Michelle Obama has kicked her frugal fashion choices to the curb.
The first lady donned some pricy gray suede designer sneakers with metallic pink toe caps while volunteering at a Washington, D.C., food bank on Wednesday, the New York Daily News reported.
The stylish shoes are made by French design label Lavin and also come in denim and satin -- as long as you're willing to fork over a whopping $540, according to the paper.
And Michelle's reps weren't eager to discuss her new kicks.
"They're shoes," a rep told the Daily News.
The first lady debuted the fancy footwear at the Capital Area Food Bank where she wore a J. Crew cardigan and a pair of simple capri pants, the News reported.
Ellen DeGeneres and Kanye West have also been known to wear the shoes.
