Beyonce hit a wrong note with one of music's greats.
Etta James trashed Beyonce for serenading President Obama and Michelle with her signature song during the inaugural ball last month and said the "Dream Girls" songbird is going to get "her ass whupped."
The 71-year-old music legend blasted Beyonce and the new commander in chief during a concert in Seattle last week, when she claimed Obama -- the one with the "big ears" -- wasn't her President and that Beyonce had "no business" singing her infamous love song "At Last."
"I tell you that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she gonna get her ass whupped," James said to an audience at the Paramount Theatre. "The great Beyonce ... but I can't stand Beyonce. She has no business up there, singing up there on a big ol' president day ... singing my song that I've been singing forever."
James, who was played by Beyonce in the film "Cadillac Records," turned her criticism toward Obama.
"You guys know your president right?," she asked the audience. "You know the one with the big ears? Wait a minute, he ain't my President, he might be yours but he ain't my President."
Beyonce serenaded Obama and Michelle during their first dance as first couple at the Neighborhood Ball. The couple shared a tender moment on stage as the singer held back tears.
