Nonstop food tastings, cooking demos, workshops, celebrity chefs and 300+ exhibitors gather in one place this weekend for diet-busting delights. And it's going to be months before you're seen in a bathing suit again, so don't sweat it.
The Metropolitan Cooking and Entertainment Show runs Nov. 5-6 at the Washington Convention Center (801 Mt. Vernon Place NW), where James Beard award-winning chefs will present 45-minute cooking demos every hour.
You can also take in tasting and entertaining workshops presented by CherylStyle, to learn cooking tricks and expert tips on a range of topics. The Celebrity Theater will feature Food Network stars Paula Deen, Giada De Laurentiis and Guy Fieri. Chef Jacques Pepin and daughter Claudine wlil host a book signing and presentation.
Ticket choices include food and wine pairings, a cocktail throwdown, lunch with Paula Deen, Guy Fiere and more. General admission tickets are $24.50.
