Madam's Organ: Live Music Every Night of the Week

Located in the heart of Adams Morgan, Madam’s Organ (are you confused yet?) offers a comfortable environment for the college-aged crowd. The walls are covered in paintings made by local artists and mounted animal heads. Madam’s Organ exudes comfort and doesn’t require bar goers to dress up for the occasion. It’s a laid-back vibe but probably not what you’re looking for if upscale, classy bars are your style.

The best thing about Madam’s Organ is the live music played every night of the week. Blues is the most popular music but you will also find jazz and R&B nights.

The bar also hosts free pool on the second floor and a rooftop deck, which they have opened year-round.

Service is generally good. Drinks and food are served quickly unless they’re busy, in which case you might find yourself waiting for a while.

I wouldn’t recommend Madam’s Organ for the food, it’s definitely nothing to rave about, although their menu offers many options such as cheese fries, decent barbecued ribs, fish frys, sandwiches and burgers.

Food specials include:
Monday- 25-cent wings
Tuesday- half price meatloaf
Wednesday- half-price country fried steak
