This Saturday, enjoy a morning of fall fitness and fun at Howl-o-ween Fun Run. As Halloween approaches, Wolf Trap’s 5K fun run will get you in the spirit with a costume contest and live entertainment.
If you plan on running in the race, register today and get ready for a great race. There will be prizes awarded to the top male and female runners. First prize includes airfare for two on American Airlines anywhere in the U.S. Second place winners will receive admission for two to a 2009 Musical Theatre Party at the Filene Center.
Not a runner? That’s okay come out anyway and enjoy a variety of fall entertainment. The morning will feature entertainment from MIX 107.3, music from Everyone But Pete, a children's performance and a costume contest!
The schedule for the day is:
8-8:30 a.m.: Pre-Race Warm-up
7-9 a.m.: Entertainment from MIX 107.3
8:30 a.m.: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk begins
8:45 a.m.: 5K Race begins
9-11 a.m.: Finish Line Festival
9-9:30 a.m.: Children's performance
9-11 a.m.: Music by Everyone But Pete
9:30 a.m.: Halloween Costume Contest for children 14 and under
10 a.m.: Awards Ceremony
