Since Redskins-related news is a bit slow these days, let's take a look at what's happening up I-95.
Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, fresh off a Super Bowl victory and MVP award, became the NFL's highest-paid player Monday, agreeing to a six-year, $120.6 million deal that includes a $29 million signing bonus and $52 million in guaranteed money.
So what did Flacco do to celebrate? What anybody who just made sure he was set for life would do: He left his presser in Owings Mill, Md., drove to Aberdeen and went to McDonald's.
Flacco ordered a 10-piece McNuggets meal with fries and an unsweetened iced tea for $6.99. With his signing bonus alone, Flacco could order over 4,100 of those meals, which would feed a third of the Aberdeen population.
