Is Your Show Canceled? Probably

Shovel your ass snow party is on

Is Your Show Canceled? Probably was originally published on Black Plastic Bag on Dec. 19, 2009, at 2:40 p.m.

What’s still going on tonight in the performing arts, and what isn’t:

- All performances at the Kennedy Center after 4 p.m. are canceled.

- The Washington Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker at the Warner Theatre is still on.

- Performances of The Solid Gold Cadillac at Studio Theatre are canceled.

- The Fantasticks at Arena Stage: Canceled.

- Show Boat and Swingin’ Santas at the Signature Theatre: Canceled.

- Too Much Light and the Baby Goes Blind at Woolly Mammoth: Canceled.

Rock ‘n’ Shop at the Black Cat has been pushed to Tuesday, but the venue is still open for the Right Round dance night. The Red Room bar and Food for Thought are also open.

- Junior League Band at the 9:30 Club: Postponed.

- Snow apparently cannot stop the Mixtape party at DC9 tonight.

- Rock & Roll Hotel: Shovel Your Ass Snow Party is on (naturally); Christmasfits are not.

- Black Nativity at the H Street Playhouse: Canceled.

Keep your eyes on this space for more.
