It may be winter, but the ladies of Hollywood were happy to show a little skin on Golden Globes night, with the biggest fashion trend a floor-length strapless gown.
Everyone from Beyonce to Kate Winslet was adorned in red-carpet skimming gowns highlighting all of the actresses’ gorgeous sculpted shoulders and toned arms.

Beyone’s off-white fitted gown had a little extra sparkle thanks to curved seams, which ran the length of her dress, and a thigh-high slit.
Also in white was British actress Kate Beckinsale, whose strapless gown was accentuated at the top by gorgeous ruffles, and at the bottom, by a train.

Black strapless gowns were plentiful on the red carpet too. Golden Globe winner for Best Supporting Actress, Drama, Kate Winslet, wore a fitted ebony dress, emphasizing her sexy middle with a belt complimented by a diamond broach. Amy Adams wore a delicate black gown with a train, while “House’s” Lisa Edelstein wore a similar strapless number with a leg slit.
In fact, all the ladies of popular Fox drama “House” opted for strapless gowns, with Number 13, aka Olivia Wilde, in lavender, and Jennifer Morrison in a royal blue floor-length number.
Eva Longoria Parker, always an awards show style star, opted for an elegant red strapless gown in satin with a light train, while “Samantha Who?” star Christina Applegate chose a lemon gown.
