"It's a massive piece of silk!" laughed Vanessa Hudgens about her low, low, low cut flowy peach Max Azria gown.
She looked adorable, but it was a case of style schizophrenia at last night's 2009 MTV Movie Awards - the fashion was all over the place. Ashlee Tisdale wore a very MTV appropriate leather mini dress and fierce high heels, but LeAnn Rimes, in a slinky long black gown, seemed overdressed for this event. Cameron Diaz was too casual in black skinny pants and floral zip up top.
Kristen Stewart nailed MTV style by funking up her black and red mini with Converse sneakers.
I liked Miley Cyrus' nude silk cowl neck Moschino Cheap & Chic halter dress, which she accented with green nails and lots of jewelry.
"They basically just threw a bunch of jewelry on my floor and let me go through it, " she told us.
Sienna Miller's sequined mini from her own Twenty8Twelve line was a bit sparkly for me, but I loved the bright sea foam green color, which popped on the carpet.
I was kind of digging Leighton Meesters black bondage dress, which was a perfect fit for this event. It was also a huge improvement from the Louis Vuitton disaster she wore at the Costume Institute Gala a couple of weeks ago.
Lauren Conrad missed the mark with her Moschino red and navy floral number with poofy tiered skirt. Very high school prom. Her red lips and heavy makeup overwhelmed her and while I'm all for the bedhead look, her hair was just too messy.
I wasn't feeling the love for Megan Fox's slicked back 'do and her Dolce & Gabbana black and gold brocade mini was just ok.
It took a week to make Audrina's peach backless sequined mini dress, but I still wasn't a fan. Rumor Willis wore a dress with a distracting forest green geometric print down the front, which kind of left me scratching my head - huh?
At least with the head-to-toe leopard get up of fashion reporter Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen's latest alter ego), you knew it was a joke. Although, I don't know any fashion reporters who dress like that!
