Game Over for Pinball Museum?

Looks like it's "Game Over" for the national Pinball Museum -- at least for now.

It's being forced to close just five months after it opened in Georgetown. David Silverman, the museum's owner, told the Washington Post that he has to leave his space in the Shops at Georgetown Park by mid-July, so the mall can be renovated.

A leasing agent from the Mall had approached Silverman about renting the space initially, and Silverman spent six months renovating his space, according to the Post. Ultimately, the museum became home to 200 pinball machines, some of which can be played by visitors.

Pinball fans -- we know you're out there -- don't be too down. The owner said he's going to find somewhere to keep the museum alive.
