Free Summer Saturdays at the Corcoran

Unleash Your Inner Artist

Take a break from busywork and channel your inner Vincent Van Gogh. Every Saturday until Labor Day, the Corcoran Gallery of Art (505 7th St. N.W.) is hosting Free Summer Saturdays, when you can enjoy gallery tours, exhibits, workshops, demos and performances. Best of all -- as the name suggests -- it's free. (We know you're shocked.)

What to expect during one of these artistic days? Past events have included artist Randolph Williams drawing highlights from the Corcoran's collections with chalk on the corner of 17th Street and New York Avenue; an exclusive tour of the Corcoran's collection and temporary exhibitions; sketching from live models, papermaking and musical tours.
