Fashion's Night Out: 14th and U Streets

Fashion's Night Out Georgetown may be getting all the press, but other parts of D.C. are celebrating the evening as well. Here are our picks of the best places to head before you take the Circulator to Georgetown.

JUNCTION: Stop by the U Street vintage boutique from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight for wine, snacks, discounts on fall arrivals, and wardrobe consultations by stylist-to-the-stars Victor Price (he's worked with Katherine Heigl and Faith Hunter, to name two). And be sure to take advantage of Juntion's selection of '70s denim and feather accessories for a retro interpretation of the latest trends.

LETTIE GOOCH: This party dress mecca may have the most original of the FNO offerings: karaoke. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., sing your lungs out while others shop (or shop while others sing), and have a few cocktails while you're at it. If you're anything like us, you'll need them before you go near a mic. And if cocktails don't make karaoke more appealing, you can still get photographed by "in-house paparazzi" and styled by the "Gooch Glamsquad." More information here.

RUE 14: Continue your fall transformation at Rue 14, where they will be offering style and fit consultations and serving champagne and appetizers. Shop their new arrivals from Theme, BB Dakota, The Addison Story, and Nudie, among others, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

REDEEM: And for your final mid-city stop, hit up über edgy boutique Redeem where local designer Mauro Farinelli of Wolf vs. Goat will be offering "made-to-measure shirt and suiting services" from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you're not in the market for a suit, you can still shop Redeem's fully stocked fall fashions by trendily obscure labels like Kai-aakmann and Feral Childe.
