School Bus Driver Dies After Chain-Reaction Crash

Crash happened on Nov. 24

The driver of a school bus involved in a chain-reaction crash in Centreville, Va. on Nov. 24 has died, Fairfax County police said.

Bonnie Latimer, 44, of Marshall, Va., died on Tuesday at Inova Fairfax Hospital, according to police.

The crash happened along Centreville Road.

The bus apparently rear-ended a dump truck, according to police. The impact forced the dump truck into the oncoming traffic lanes, where it struck a minivan, authorities said.

No children were on the school bus at the time of the accident, police said.
