Ex-Little League Coach Facing More Abuse Charges

FAIRFAX, Va. -- A former Little League coach accused of having sexual contact with a 12-year-old 12 years ago is facing more charges.

John Hamilton, 37, of Centreville, was charged with two counts of sodomy Friday. They stem from allegations by two more victims.

A 19-year-old made allegations about incidents that occurred from October through December in 2001, Fairfax County police said. A 28-year-old's allegations are from December 1992 through April 1993. Hamilton served in a coaching capacity for both victims, police said.

The original accuser said Hamilton had inappropriate contact with him several times in 1997, including one in the parking lot of Carl Sandburg Middle School and another at Hamilton's home, police said. Hamilton was charged with aggravated sexual battery after several months of investigation.

A 16-year-old foreign exchange student was living with Hamilton when he was arrested, police said.

Hamilton is being held without bond. He has filled several positions in youth athletics, so parents concerned he might have had contact with their children should call police.
