Drink, Get Free Food — and Save the Chesapeake Bay

Free admission, free appetizers

The Earth Day celebration is already underway in DC, but you can join the party at Duffy's on Potomac on Wednesday, April 22 -- the official Earth Day -- and help save the Chesapeake Bay at the same time.

Green Drinks Hagerstown will host a gathering at Duffy's in Hagerstown to rally support for action to improve the health of the bay,  the Herald Mail reported.  The event starts at 5:30 p.m.  There is no admission and no reservations are required.  There is a cash bar, but there are also free appetizers.

And sometime in-between the drinking and the eating, the Green Drinks group will write letters to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson asking the EPA to enforce the Clean Water Act for the benefit of the Chesapeake Bay.  And to avoid getting caught for Writing Under the Influence, we suggest picking up your pen before your drink(s).
