Dished: Free Bacon Lollies!

  • Founding Farmers (1924 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W.) will be featured tonight in the season premier of new Food Network show Meat & Potatoes, and it's celebrating with a viewing party that starts at 9:30 p.m. Swing by to enjoy some free bacon lollis (yes, bacon lollipops) as you watch. See more deals at The Feast.
  • Oyamel (401 7th St. N.W.) knows that if something works, don't change it -- which is why the José Andrés eatery is celebrating its fourth annual Tequila & Mezcal Festival. From March 14 to 17, the Mexican small plates spot will offer original tequila and mezcal (a spirit made from agave) creations for $11 and a special menu to accompany it designed by head chef Joe Raffa. Plus, swing by for free tequila tastings March 15-24 between 4 and 6 p.m. More details at The Feast.
  • Black Squirrel (2427 18th St. N.W.) unveiled its new basement bar last week, featuring the third-largest beer selection in D.C. Thirty-two beers are on tap, but drinks are a bit pricey, at least for us -- a goblet of Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA goes for $8, and $13 for I Hardcore You Imperial IPA. For those of you who are looking to be kinder to your wallet, find a place to eat and drink on the cheap on our Feast List: The Best BYOB Spots.
