D.C.'s oldest and largest Greek festival is under way at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
The 50th annual festival began Friday and continues Saturday and Sunday from noon until 8 p.m.
Of course you will find your favorite Greek food -- mousaka, pastichio, manestra, spanakopita, tyropita, dolmades, baklava, diples and kataifi -- as well as Greek coffees, beers and wines.
There is live Greek music for your entertainment and a marketplace offering books, jewelry and trinkets.
Admission and parking is free. Food and marketplace items can be purchased with cash or credit.
The church is located at 16th and Upshur streets in northwest Washington.
