PASADENA, Md. (AP) — Anne Arundel County Police say a construction worker directing traffic with a stop/slow sign was struck and killed on a Pasadena road.
The department said in a news release that about 12:50 p.m. Monday, 58-year-old Rodney Chase of Baltimore was directing traffic with the rotating sign in the center of Fort Smallwood Road.
Police say a Jeep driven by 32-year-old Jason Disney of Pasadena hit Chase.
Officers say Chase was pronounced dead at the scene. Disney remained at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
