WASHINGTON – The Virginia campaign chair for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was fired Monday following his involvement in a protest outside the Republican National Committee headquarters.
Brushing aside a controversial 2005 video capturing Trump talking about kissing and groping women, demonstrators led by Virginia Women for Trump rallied outside the RNC headquarters on Capitol Hill Monday afternoon, calling on party leaders to continue their support of Trump. Corey Stewart, Trump’s Virginia campaign chair, attended the protest and was later fired from his position.
