WASHINGTON — A 17-year-old was shot to death in Fairfax County on Wednesday night.
The Fairfax County police said that they were called to Hagel Circle, in Lorton, at about 10:30 p.m. by someone who heard gunshots. They found Maurice Anderson Berger, 17, of Lorton, on the sidewalk, suffering from a gunshot wound. Fire and rescue personnel were called to the scene, but Berger was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
The police said there were reports of a vehicle seen leaving the area, but there is no information about the description of the vehicle or a suspect.
The shooting is still under investigation.
