WASHINGTON — About two dozen people are stuck on a roller coaster at Six Flags America in Prince George’s County.
Prince George’s County Fire and Rescue are working Thursday afternoon to safely get the riders off the Jokers Jinx, which stalled around 5:45 p.m.
All of the riders are upright and no one appears to be in distress, said Prince George’s County Fire & EMS spokesman Mark Brady in a tweet.
Riders were stuck on the same coaster in 2014 and it took almost five hours for them to be safely removed. There were no injuries.
According to the park’s website, the Jokers Jinx roller coaster has a launch system that gets riders from 0 to 60 mph in just over three seconds.
