RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Police say a pedestrian was hit and killed by a CSX train in Richmond.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports (http://bit.ly/28Ohfho ) that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident happened on the north side of the city beneath the Shockoe Valley Bridge.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities have not released any other information.
