FAIRMOUNT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) — Police are searching for a man who they say tried to grab a sleeping 7-year-old boy from his bedroom window in Prince George’s County.
Fairmount Heights police said in a news release that the victim woke up and yelled during the attempted abduction early Tuesday, scaring off the suspect.
Authorities say the suspect was outside of the house and had reached through an unlocked window.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot black man weighing 300 pounds and wearing a white T-shirt.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call 301-772-4911.
