Police Looking for Man Caught on Video Stealing From DC Home

WASHINGTON — Police are looking for a suspect caught on surveillance video breaking into a home and stealing from it in Southeast D.C. last week.

The suspect broke into a home between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on July 17 in the 400 block of Woodcrest Drive SE, D.C. police said. In the video, the suspect can be seen entering the home by forcing open the back door.

He took off with electronics, jewelry and other personal items, according to police.
