Police in Virginia Arrest Man in Fatal Shooting at Wendy's

DISPUTANTA, Va. (AP) — Police in Virginia have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting inside a fast-food restaurant.

Prince George County Police said in a statement early Tuesday morning that 27-year-old Jules Moultrie Jr. III is charged with first-degree murder in the death of a Richmond man.

The shooting happened Monday afternoon at a Wendy’s restaurant located in a travel center about 30 miles south of Richmond. Police say the shooter opened fire within seconds of entering the restaurant, striking 19-year-old Coron Bond, and then fled.

Bond was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Moultrie was arrested early Tuesday morning without incident. He was being held without bond, and it wasn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
